Join Abney Unearthed for a tour held in recognition of Remembrance Day. Learn more about the lives of the fallen soldiers buried in Abney Park - including those with Commonwealth War Grave Commission memorial stones and those commemorated on the headstone of their family grave.

Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Hackney Council, Abney Unearthed is an exciting  project to remap the Abney Park Cemetery and discover more about the people buried there. A team of dedicated volunteers are adding missing information to the burial records and researching the people, bringing their diverse stories to life.
